The families and friends that mourn them, and                 to all Americans everywhere.

      In the most devastating terrorist act
     ever waged against the United States,
    hijackers crashed two airliners into the
   New York World Trade Center, toppling
              its twin 110-story towers.

       The deadly calamity was witnessed on
  televisions across the world as another plane                 slammed into the Pentagon in
      Washington D.C. and a fourth crashed
                     outside Pittsburgh.

I have no photographs to show the devastation on an American landmark caused by the fourth hijacked airliner. This is due to
the bravery of a man named Todd Beamer and his fellow passengers.  When he learned of the previous deliberate crashes through a phone call to his wife, he obviously took action against the hijackers. 
                                                   
That plane went down in a wooded area outside of Pittsburgh.
We thank these heroes and heroines from the bottom of our hearts - thank you for not sitting down and crying as you could have done.  You march right along side of all the others; the firemen, the policemen, all the people that make America what it is.


The ones responsible for these cowardly acts will not be wearing their smirks for long.  God does not take kindly to evil deeds .... what then, shall we say in response to this?  If God is for us, who can be against us? ( Romans 8:31 )  God is love not hate...

The only sure way to be delivered from surrounding evil is to call upon God for help and strength, David in Psalm 18 gives a good report on this - how God gave him victory over his enemies - and He is still the same God today.

We, as a Nation, need to praise and thank Him for our beautiful country, our liberty and freedom we so enjoy. We need to ask for His help and strength now in this hour of need.
