The Day The Eagle Cried!
    It's a day carved in our memory,Evil flying in the air,
Taking with it precious loved ones,to a death of great despair;
Aroused Heros 'midst the hatred,saving lives they stood to fight,
Each one became a Hero,...the day the Eagle cried:

As the gray cloud of distruction,blocked the light from those who
fled, Someone yelled,"Grab the shoulder of the one in front!"
he said;
"Don't let go,just keep on walking,walk until you see the light"
His voice became a Hero...the day the Eagle cried:

Into the mouth of Hell they entered,Policemen,Fireman,Women,
men, Swallowed down the fear of dying,digging deep for strength
within;
Climbing stairs to face the Devil,Jesus drew them to his side,
So many souls became a Hero...the day the Eagle cried:

In the aftermath of horror,workers digging wih bare hands,
Determined faces,in the rubble,looking for their fellow man;
As they cut through steel and load it,truckers working day and
night,
Yes they all became Heros,...the day the Eagle cried:

Families left to bear the burden,gather strength to carry on,
Children calling Daddy's cell phone,Just to hear his voice come on
Families gather to pay tribute,telling stories with true pride,
Oh so many brave Heros,...the day the Eagle cried:

For a week or more we cried there,on the couch with endless news
Then we dug out all our flags,and we put them all in use;
On the airways,on the highways,on the Web,we did unite,
Paying tribute to our Heros,...as we dried the Eagle's eye:

Eagle flying in the air now,seeking justice and resolve,
As "United We Are Standing,"and our plan for peace evolves;
Countries all around the world,standing firmly at our side,
So many souls became Heros,...the day the Eagle cried:
